My mum has just been diagnosed with lewy bodies dementia and unfortunately will need to go into a care home. This will be so difficult when I drop her off any tips for best handover into her new care home please.

Welcome, I didn’t tell my Dad where we were going, we just went in for a cup of tea and I told him that the doctor says he is staying for a few days so that the nurses can check that his meds are working properly. Said I was going to the loo then left. We took all his clothes and stuff in the day before. Good luck x
