I know it will still take you sometime to adjust but no one could have have done as much as you did, you should be very proud of yourself and know that you left no stone unturned in your fight for your parents care. Mums cat Lily now lives with us & our lurcher, they get on very well. Early days atm as I’m numb still but learning to be kinder to myself each day

I feel at peace & appreciate everyone’s words of condolences / support / advice
Accepting you did your best isn’t always easy but getting excellent nursing care at the end has made all the difference .
