Electronic care plans and LPA

I was involved in an interesting discussion today.

I learnt that our hospitals here now use electronic recording for care plans and observation records.

So that has done away with the charts at the end of the bed.

Because Tom was blind I always checked the observation reports and the drug record.

So IMO LPA for health and welfare has suddenly become far more relevant, to enable the carer to access even the basic medical records.
