My dad is pretty much a loan career to my mum, who was diagnosed in lockdown with alzheimers. My dad is 80 years old and doing a fantastic job looking after her, but recently, mum has started putting food into her mouth, but then takes it out with her fingers. She has lost weight and hasn't much of an appetite. I suggested meal supplements, which she is drinking. The doctors suggested a dietitian, but I don't feel there understanding of alzheimers influenced there advice to my dad what to offer her. I have suggested my dad to join this forum to gain more help, as I feel the doctors are just ticking boxes
