Dementia and Alzheimer's disease was the biggest recorded cause of death in England and Wales over the last five years!
Yet Dementia is still the poor relation in the stable of "Major Conditions" identified in the UK Government's strategy. The much-vaunted "Ten-Year Plan for Dementia" is dead, and so far, NOTHING has replaced it.
It REALLY isn't good enough.
