Mine was more a case of “ invisibles”. You know the scenario. He always sounds ok on the phone. Meanwhile after a thirty year loving and supportive marriage I was in serious carer breakdown.

I have now made a new life for myself. I have good friends and take three foreign holidays a year.
At the age of 73 and after a very fraught lockdown I’m not wasting any more time.
cutting them out of my life was very liberating.
