Hi, my dad was diagnosed with young onset dementia 6 months ago he is in the mild stage.

My first thought is to ask if you or your auntie has power of attorney for you dad.

It might be helpful to write you concerns in a letter to the memory clinic. Even if they won’t speak to you about your dad’s situation at least your concerns about him will be logged.
