Dad been diagnosed with Korsokoff when admitted to hospital because of liver issues. Put on vitamins for 8 weeks and now in a care home. The home is not suitable as we need one that specialises in his diagnosis.. so difficult. He’s lucid for days then totally gone again. When lucid he’s angry and knows what’s happening. The guilt we feel is just horrible. Anyone else same position?
