Carers allowance Christmas bonus?

As an irregular earner I will be lucky to see a payment as soon as February 2016 so I expect they will have forgotten all about any Christmas bonus

Christmas Bonus, according to the website, is paid before Christmas.

I admit, I had a conversation with friends and swore blind I hadn't received mine, but I had! It came in separately to the WFA allowance and the State Pension. Gosh, 3 payments in one month.

I don't get carers' allowance yet (still working) but we received a letter today to say my husband was being given a £10 Christmas bonus through his PIP entitlement. Just checked his bank account and saw it sitting there in all its glory
He is having a ponder on what to spend it on now

So nice to see a bit of humour on here! I am new to this forum and it is good to know that others can laugh about receiving an extra £10 CA for Christmas; don't spend it all at once!
