Can anyone advise re paying nursing home fees?
My mother has hardly any savings left but she owns her house which I also live in.
I am going to have to "bite the bullet" and find long term care for my mother.
Presuming there will be a "means test" re fees, will the house be included?
Regards
snuffy

Sorry snuffy, don't know the answer to this one. However as it is a route someone has already gone down, I am sure someone will be able to give you some pointers. Hang on in there, Connie

Dear Snuffy, not sure how your situation stands regarding fees as it is different to ours. I suggest you ring the Alz helpline, they will be able to give you the information you need. It is a tough decision to make, please post when you can so we can support you. With love, She. XX
