I checked whether someone had already posted about this brilliant graphic style biography about one family's journey through early part Alzheimer's and found that Andrean did over a year ago. I thought it was worth mentioning again as I think it's the best, most real and honest portrayal of AD I've ever seen. Plus the comic book style conveys as much meaning in one page as a whole chapter in a regular book.

I read it in almost one sitting ages ago. It's especially helpful, in my opinion, for relatives or close friends of the affected person/carer to give an insight to the reality of what life can be like for them.

It's probably not advisable to read it early after diagnosis if you'd rather not know about the middle to end stages of AD - after all everyone's different and one's own experience might be totally different.

I found that I identified with so much of it in relation to my family's experience and it helped my invisible brothers understand a little more.
