My mum, is tieing herself in knots about signing her LPAs, it will be myself and an other attorney, one of the other attorneys has said they don't want to make life and death decisions. However I have said it is joint and severally so I can make that decision if needs be. Is that correct? I just need her to stop cancelling her appointments with the solicitor!

Yes that is what I worry about, can they do this?
Yes, infact it is their duty to satisfy themselves that the person still has capacity. The tricky bit is finding someone who will verify this if the solicitor requests it.
