When it rains ,it pours!
Out in the shops with hubby today , just mooching around. I called out to him to look at something, and called 'Mum'. Then it hit me that I won't be shopping with Mum again, as much as I hope I will.
Then Mum had her nails done today and the manicurist said Mum settled while she was doing them. Then she brought her downstairs where there was some old time singing and apparently she held hands with her and was grinning from ear to ear.
When I go in at that time of day, it's almost as if she punishes me; won't respond, barely acknowledges me, pushes my hand away when I try and hold hers and turns her face away when I try and kiss her.
Maybe deep down she has an inkling of what's going on, so my guilt is re-inforced.
Anyway, thanks for reading. I'm off to try and sleep now. She's my waking thought and last thought at night.
