I thought it would be good to post something brighter.
My husband, who has Dementia & Alzheimer’s, & I, moved to a new area in June this year. I was struggling with taking on the responsibilities for us both. We left all the support behind when we moved to the other side of the country, but, over the past few weeks, we have joined in several local online, Singing for the Brain sessions , Activity group & Memory cafe. Unexpectedly, my husband really enjoys the singing, & joins in with the other sessions. These sessions have really made a difference to both of us. It’s lovely to see him enjoying himself, & we both look forward to meeting up with all the lovely people we see on our screen, when eventually we can.
