Thank you all for your support.

Today went well, church was packed, my niece did really well in reading the poem, and my sisters and I read the eulogy.

The funeral tea was also packed, and I had a gin and tonic (or two!) - purely to toast my dad you understand...

Everyone said it was a fitting tribute to my lovely dad.

Goodbye dad, and goodnight. I hope we did you proud xx

Hello Sue:

You are now through a most difficult phase and I admire the way you have dealt with it.

purely to toast my dad you understand...

Of course we understand :rolleyes::rolleyes: most of us have joined you!

I hope your Mum is ok now and as a family you are 'together'. I say that having two lovely daughters who will, at the given time, help me through.

Please keep in touch.

Sue, you surely did your Dad proud!

Lovely that all the family and so many friends were there to say goodbye. and you have the knowledge and pride that you always loved him and did your best for him.

I hope your mum is OK.

Love,

Thank you again for your support.:)

This will probably be my last post on this thread. :(

I have uploaded, to my profile, an album of some of the pics of my dad that we had at his funeral, and which I think pretty much sum him up.
