I'm so very saddened to read about Helen, Sylvia.
She is such a special friend to you, and of course you to her.
I think a relationship such as that is meant to be, and for a purpose.

My love to you all.
I hope you are all graced with a peaceful day.
My thoughts are with you.
Love Geum. xxxx

Constantly in my thoughts and heart. Yes they are extremely difficult days but I’m hoping today is not too stressful and Helen is as comfortable as she can be and the drug induced sleep is giving her times of oblivion and rest.

Sending love, continuing strength and much more.

We arrived at 9.30am and Helen said "Welcome to Hell"

One of the nurses was with us immediately to say what a dreadful night Helen had and how tired she would be today.
It is severe constipation which has made her very sore and one of the causes of her discomfort. There is a suggestion she may need to be helped in other ways.

She also has had a bladder scan and is retaining fluid

However.......once she had had a couple of short naps she came round and is now brighter than I've seen for a long time.

She has just eaten a three course lunch, soup, cottage pie and ice cream and no nausea.

There is much more in what is turning out to be an eventful day but I need to get my head round it before I post any more.

Pleased that for the moment Helen is feeling a little better, but the 'ups and downs' must be so difficult to deal with. Love and strength to you all xx

I'm glad that Helen's nausea appears to be under control at last.

Sylvia, you have so much to come to terms with that your head must be in a complete spin.

Love to you all.

I'm glad Helen's feeling brighter now, it sounds like the nausea is a lot better.

I hope the events of today are positive Sylvia.

Thinking of you all.
