Nightmares

My OH has VD, during the night she often has bad dreams/nightmares this leads to screaming and shouting and restlessness,
is this a common side of VD and is there an explanation.

Would also be of help if someone has found a way of reducing these sleep decreasing nights. Going into another room is not an option as I would not leave her alone.

Oh @Tavy I do feel for you. My husband has Lewy Body Dementia and also has distressing dreams. We have been told that there is nothing much that can be done about it. Do speak to your OH's GP about the issue though in case they can suggest anything.
