Hi,

I have joined this forum as my mother is suffering with dementia.

We have been advised to think about applying for deputyship as my mother never appointed power of attorney and is no longer verbal. Does anyone have experience of going through this application process or any advice they could offer.

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome, seat belts on you're in for a bumpy ride on the subject of the Court of Protection, UK England law, that is, can be a nightmare sometimes, not always but sometimes.
Is you have a local Alzheimer's Society drop in face to face advise may be available. K
