I have looked at the 'help' but I don't understand it. What is the difference from posting here and a blog? Why would one want to 'blog'?

As I see it 1954, Blogs are more like personal diaries which don`t require a response in the form of advice or support.

I copy my `Life in the day…….` entries as a record of events, so I can look up dates etc without trailing through all the very welcome and supportive replies.

Others might have a different reason for Blogging.

It's in the name.

A Blog is short for web log which is a log of events recorded on the web.

A Forum is a place to discuss a topic relevant to the title of the forum.

Ah........ thank you. I have started it now as it seems a good way to log the day to day life with MIL. I still find it all rather confusing but at least I've made a start and work from there!

Although it's a log it's a strange log, you (usually) start at the last page and work backwards in time.

Given a written log in a book, where would you open it on first reading, first page, last page or somewhere in the middle?

Blogging on here

I too am confused about 'My Blog'.

Where do I write it? I can't find anywhere that is 'mine' where I can start a Blog.
