warfarin and its INR tests no longer in control - an alternative is available

BUT only the squeaky wheel gets the grease - after enduring a month of ineffective weekly test with the basic 5mg dose twiddled by + - 0.5mg daily and the INR never below 3.3 I had a long chat with our GP - result very + mrs mo43 now on a no test alternative - for us apixaban...

BTW quite exciting to do a cost effective study with the full costs of a INR test by staff and the equipment used with a comparison of the extra tablet costs and no tests of the equivalent - maybe big pharma is very happy with the present situation...is the NHS?:confused:
