Can anyone tell me the difference between Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia? I.e is there varying differences in the sympton's etc
I'm starting to get really confused as my Grandad has been diagnosed with Alzheimers but now they are starting to wonder if he has Parkinson's cos he has a trembly hand. On the other hand I have been reading about Vascular Dementia and wonder if he has that.
He has got a weak left leg, his hand's only tremble when he try's to use them (ie eating), they are still when on his lap. I keep thinking along the lines of mini-strokes etc. He had a DVT in his leg last year.
Has anyone got any experiences of vascular dementia or weak legs/hands etc?
