UTI or not UTI?

Hi,

Quick question. How do I know if my dad has a UTI? His confusion has gone up quite a bit over the last couple of days and I have noticed a bit of a fishy smell in his downstairs area which is rather unpleasent and washing him doesn't seem to do anything. His urine was tested for an infection about a couple of weeks ago, but came back negative. Should I ask for another urine test? Or am I just being a bit overly worried.

Any advice please.

I would ask for another urine test, mentioning the increased confusion and the odour. Better to err on the cautious side, I think.
