Can any-one recommend a simple tracker so I can find out where OH has got to? I don't want one that uses a SIM card as I don't have a mobile phone, just a simple tracking device. Apologies if this has been asked and answered many times before!

The only practical way a tracker can communicate with you is via a mobile phone.

The phone need not be expensive

https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?rh=n:356496011,p_36:138893031&pf_rd_i=356496011&pf_rd_p=8c0170a2-e0f6-58a9-b808-0cd4cd5b876b&pf_rd_r=RFH1KWS2YMYY4S841Y4H&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-10&pf_rd_t=BROWSE&ref=Oct_s9_apbd_oup_hd_bw_bO7otf_S .

You could then get a free SIM and put £10 on a PAYG plan, beware that you may have to make a chargeable call every so often to retain the number.
Choose a network with a known good signal in your area.

I'll leave it to others with experience to suggest best tracker in terms of watch, fob, ....

EDIT
Just realised that you would need a phone capable of displaying a map unless you are prepared to work from co-ordinates in text.
