Hiya all, just wanted to tell you that i have just come back from the first Torbay Dementia Leadership group meeting and it was very successfull.
I was invited along by a employee of the AS whom i have been volunteering alongside since opening the Alzheimers memory cafe`s.and it is a leadership group run and led by people with Dementia.The AS are there as support and back up which is fantastic to know.
We will be working alongside the Torbay trust to explain the needs and feelings of people with Dementia and how things can be improved and hopefully changed for the better.
Now i have something to get my teeth stuck into !!
And can hopefully help others in achieving what they want as well. i will of course keep you informed, best wishes, Norrms and family xxxxxxxxxxxxx
