Today my mum happily informed me she had unloaded the dishwasher.......its such a shame it hadn't been run 😀

I had to wait until she had gone to bed so I didn't upset her, I am pleased.to report the kitchen is back to normal.

This made me and the carers smile yesterday- mum was as bright as a button and was very cheery during personal care when usually she protests very loudly…..she can barely speak more than one or two words these days.

I joked they had laced the cake that afternoon with cannabis……on her side for a pad change she suddently said ‘ you’d be surprised what we get up to when you’re not here!’

she’s not spoken a sentence in ages! The carers and I were both astonished but a,so had a good chuckle!
