Thiamine/ B1

Has anyone ever trialed Thiamine or Vitamin B1, if so have you seen any improvement what so ever? I was thinking of giving my mother Thiamine for a trial period to see if I could see any benefits this could have.

Any feedback or advice would be much appreciated.
