Hello Everyone.

I'm just letting you know that there is a small paragraph in the Times today entitled 'Women's Dementia Risk'. University College London conducted research which concluded that over the age of 75 were more likely to develop dementia because fewer women of this age finished school.

Sorry MaMaAk, that looks like another newspaper non story. My partner went to university and still developed dementia aged 76 after a stroke.

I worked with a consultant pathologist and he was probably the cleverest man I have ever known. He had dementia before he died.

One thing that may have kept my nana's mind healthy was her doing cryptic crosswords every day but poor dad was also gradually going deaf and had diabetes on top of this.
