My condolences to you and Himself. I'm glad it was peaceful and very glad that you were able to keep MIL at home until the end, something most of us wish we could do. I'm glad you could.

Invisible BIL arrived at 5pm :eek::eek::eek:

I texted him to turn round on Saturday at 7am as Millie was in labour and I just couldn't have him here. As my Daughter is staying and someone needs to "puppy watch" Himself and BIL are in the front room and I can't hear a word they're saying!

I have handed funeral arrangements over to them as is fitting BUT I realised the other day how upset I'm going to be if they don't take my wishes into consideration. Himself & I have looked after her all this time and if BIL overrides us I shall never talk to him again. Probably won't anyway when it's all over :D:D

Collected the death certificate today and was pleased that it said Alzheimers disease, was surprised no mention of vascular dementia but guess it was the Alzheimers that made her forget how to swallow.
