I would like to thank everyone on this forum for sharing their experiences as this has been invaluable in a, helping me to understand what to expect on dad’s journey and b, taking away the guilt we as a family felt when dad had to go into a home.
Dad passed away at lunchtime today with my sister present. All very peaceful and quick. The staff at the home have been wonderful and I can’t thank them enough for their care and compassion.
