My mother phoned me early this morning, she has a new carer coming today while the regular one is away, we have met the new person, but she "couldn't remember what she has to do". So we went through the regular morning rituals, and she settled down again. She just wants the familiar words which describe the things she does (or things the carers do) every day.
If only I could rely on the carers doing everything they write in their file.
