Today my OH broke my heart. He has has a cataract opp recently and told me today he thought he'd feel better after it. 😢 The lack of understanding and his sadness that it hasn't solved his Alzheimer's is just another piece of the man I love fading away. . . . . .

I feel you. A recent dementia review and mums only question was about her hundred percent recovery 😔

It is so hard isn't it. I lost both my parents to different dementia and it was hard and now I'm losing my husband. Life keeps throwing things my way but we make the most of what we have.
I was very low this am but lunch with some friends, all three men in the group have dementia and we wives are all supporting each other, and we both feel brighter. It's good to have a support group.
I Hope you have time to make some good memories with your mum. Big hugs. X
