My wife has had Lewy body dementia for 7.5 years now and is in a wheelchair. She does not speak much now and sleeps all day and night so difficult to give fortisips drinks.
She is only 58 years old. What can I do?

I'm so sorry Wimbledon-58 is no age to be going through this. I'm also sorry that I have no advice for you, but I didn't want to read and run.

You will be bumped up the list now, so I hope someone will be along to help

Take care

Hello wimbledon7

Your post made me feel sad and sorry your wife is in such an advanced state at such an early age.

However it looks as if she needs sleep more than she needs nourishment, because you do not say she seems uncomfortable or in pain.

What a terrible worry for you. Have you asked for medical advice?
