Simple TV

Hi there - hope you're all well and looking after yourselves. I'm after a recommendation. I'm looking to replace my Mum's old TV with a really simple one - where she presses the number of the channel she wants to select it. Not one that requires scrolling or selecting apps which also includes flipper remote controls - as it's beyond her capability. Any recommendations out there? thank you forum

Channels higher than 9 require multiple key presses which could be difficult.

I know the sort you want - the sort they used to have 40 years ago when there was no remote, only 4 channels and you pressed a button on the front of the TV to change channels.

I dont think anyone makes them anymore

The nearest I think you will get is something like

with numbers 1-9 mapped to required channels.
Problem could be 'accidental' reprogramming.

Have you looked into an Amazon Fire TV? She could speak the channel she wanted to watch.
