Selling a property

Hi

I am in the process of emptying my mum and dads house to sell it. Dad suddenly passed away last year and mum is in a home.

My sister and I are deputies and have also been appointed as trustees by the Court of Protection. Do we also require permission from COP to sell the house or does us being trustees supersede this?

Does the deputyship order give specific power to sell the house?

If so no need to apply, else you will have to apply.

As you are appointed trustees by the COP I think you will have included sale of the house in your deputyship application.
