Remote controlled vibrating alarm under pillow

My mum is 92 with Alzheimers, completely deaf without her hearing aid, and lives alone. My sisters and I need to raise her each morning, else she would just stay in bed. We currently have a vibrating pad under the pillow for the purpose, which is linked to the phone. However if the phone is left off the hook we have no way of raising her when we call. Is there anything on the market which could be activated via our phones through the broadband modem? I'm struggling to find anything suitable.

Hello @nigeedwards and welcome. I tried an internet search but couldn't find the exact type of thing you are looking for but I know that some members here have experience of deafness related equipment/aids so may have some suggestions for you. As your mum lives alone perhaps a visit from a befriender or carer in the mornings might be helpful, someone just popping in for a cup of tea and a chat to check that she is ok?
