Question about COP3 following response from court

The courts have responded to my deputyship application with a letter saying that the COP3 form does not address my Mother's ability to manage and administer her financial affairs and to ask the social worker to fill in a COP24. This would be the same social worker who did the COP3 so what he wrote on the COP3 was insufficient as far as the courts were concerned. When I read it, it seemed fine to my layman's mind so to try and avoid the same error, does anyone know what sort of things the court are looking for on the COP3 in terms of ability to manage and administer her financial affairs?

In my mother's case, this form (the Assessment of Capacity) was filled in by her memory specialist. I will look and see what it said - need to dig it out. Which particular questions do you think are of concern?

I presume it's either 3.3 (my bit) or 7.2(assessor bit). Perhaps we needed to provide specific examples of how the dementia was affecting her ability to manage financial matters.

Mu husband's psychiatric consultant signed that he no longer had mental capacity. That was sufficient as he was in a position to judge that. A social worker isn't qualified to do so.
