I found the programme very positive. Yes she has memory problems but she is living a fulfilling life and enjoying her canal boating with her husband.

I don't think her husband, Timothy West was enjoying them so much. He was very concerned about her walking on deck and going onto the tow path. She was also very confused when it came to tying up the boat and untying the boat.

When there are just two of you there is a lot to do on a narrowboat hand you depend on each other quite a lot.

Hopefully they can get some help and manage to still enjoy their time on the canals. It was lovely to see them travelling the canals.
