I think you have to ask yourself "What would my step-father do if he had the capacity?" Would he go to court to stop his daughter taking his money against his wishes? If the answer is 'yes' then that is what you have to do.

Oh gosh, when you put it like that it makes me think! Would he take his own daughter to court? I dont know. I know that he would be furious that she had done what she had done, and would want the money back. But I cant see any other way of doing it. I have tried being nice , being rational and tried talking to her. I have even tried to get us all to a meeting with a solicitor as mediator.
