As well as running the Dublin Marathon (see seperate thread) I've devised a 75 question Postal Quiz as a Fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society. It sells for £2 and has prizes of £50, £20 and £10. The closing date isn't until October 27th (marathon day!) and so far I have already covered the cost of the prizes. Last weekend I sold 21 copies at a Quiz Night (which was being run for another charity!)
I post this here firstly, because someone may want to buy a Quiz themselves and have a go at the prizes! Just send £2 (payable to the Alzheimer's Society) to Postal Quiz, 1 Oakleigh Way, Christchurch, BH23 5DQ
But also others may want to use the Quiz themselves as a fundraiser. I emailed all the Alzheimer's Groups with an email address and about 20 now have copies and hopefully will be able to sell the Quiz in their locality - every Quiz sold is £2 for the Society. Any takers?
