Here is a link to the alzheimers society info on Blueberries:

My view is that they are good for health which is the same for many fruits and vegetables that are concentrated in nutrients and antioxidants. But I'm no scientist. However, I do remember a scientist discussing this and many possible 'preventions and cures' at the UK Dementia Conference this year, she wasn't convinced about the connection.

Like Jennifer, many many things I'd rather eat - leave Blueberries to the birds :)

Kind Regards
Craig

Craig, thanks for the link. I'm a bit alarmed by the pot-belly bit, hence some determination to keep the slimming thread alive through Christmas! However, blueberries are far too expensive and IMHO tasty to leave to the birds, darlings though they be. I cook them (blueberries, not the birds) with sweetener, maybe some honey, and eat them with plain low fat yogurt.Yum.
