Hi everyone. My mums legs have been contacted up for many years as is her neck - her head is over to one side & she can't straiten it to a normal position. her legs were up so her heels wete practially touching her bum. about 3 weeks ago and they changed over night & her legs are now more or less straight! her GP said this is a final stage of dementia but shes still with us. her head is still contracted. Has anyone come across anything like this before or possibly know what may be going on

My mum had one leg in contracture when she was bedbound at end of life. One day it just released out, we were told it was muscles relaxing at last stage of life. I think she passed about 2 or 3 weeks later.
