Another daughter here - my mom is 68 in August, and I just turned 40. Mom was diagnosed only 2 mo ago with frontal temporal dementia, moderate stage - but it is aggressive and we are seeing her decline quickly. She lives with my dad across the country, and my dad is not coping and not accepting the caregiver role. He has been reluctant to get help and she's on her own all day long as he works. He is angry, frustrated, and mean to her, which breaks my heart. Anyways I could go on, but I just wanted to say hi and that I understand your journey. I have looked at both of the blog links that were posted in here and my heart goes out to both of you.
