Mum not doing much for herself

I am at a lost. At the moment we are dealing with acute depression. Nothing else yet diagnosed.

I have noticed if I want my mother to get washed an dressesd, I run her a bath, pick the clothes she is going to wear and that seems to get her going and on with the task.

If im not around, she struggles with doing anything during her day.

Mums got some social care but its still not enough. I am at a loss and do not know where to turn.

Hello @R2-D2_23 This must be so worrying for you. You say that you do not have a diagnosis as yet, has your mum been tested for dementia, if so please try to find out what the results are as this can help with getting further help.
If your mum has not yet been tested get back on to her GP and ask for an urgent referral.
I would also suggest that you get back to social services and tell them that you are finding it hard to cope and that you need more help with looking after your mum.
