I haven't been on this forum for a while now as I have have been ill myself, but continue to help with caring for my Mum who has Alzhiemers.
My mum has been taking Memitine which has helped to calm down her aggression.
We give it to her at 3.30 every afternoon.
My sister stayed the night with her the other day and said she was almost normal once she had had her medication for the whole evening, where as in the morning she is aggressive and hard to deal with.
So my question is can we give her this medication in the morning, then she may have a better day?
It does not seem to zonk her out, she still goes to bed very late.

OH used to take his in the morning, always. So can't comment on time of day! Glad it's work OK. Why not ask the doctor?
