Hi I'm new to the Talking Point site, look forward to chatting to you all, and if I know anything regarding your questions I will help. I used to be a Support Worker myself at one time, helping people in the community to whom had learning difficulties and/or mental health. Its a shame I cant help myself lol.
Anyway my parents live in Thurrock, Essex and I'm looking for a support worker for mum and to give my dad respite, its very hard for him to cope with. Also my mum has been refused PIP, my dad has appealed. and he's also written to their local MP. Yet still no joy, so I'm hoping that a support worker would be able to guide them with appealing again.

Thankyou x

Hello and welcome to TP. I’m afraid I know little about PIP except that my husband didn’t have it as he was over 65 when he was diagnosed.
Hopefully someone who holds more knowledge about this will come along and be able to help.
Perhaps your local CAB might be able to help if all else fails. Best of luck.
