I miss my freedom so much. As most of you know, I am under "house arrest" since I have been caring for my OH.Be careful what you wish for. It may come true.
He is still independent, but partly unable, partly unwilling to stay alone for more than a couple of hours.
I have been living in the country since I retired in 2014. Lovely surroundings and lovely home, but far away from my home, my friends, the life I liked...
If OH accepted the presence of a sort of carer when I am away , it would be easier, but he is convinced he can cope well with being on his own. Which is not true, obviously.
