Most 20-year-olds are out with their friends, searching out partners, focused on university or finding a job they love.
Jonathan Knight was caring for his mother, Christine, who was diagnosed with dementia when he was 20 years old. She was 54.

Jonathan has shared more about his experience in the most recent issue of Dementia Together. You can read the article online here.

Two images. On the left is an image of Christine Knight, a black woman in her 50s, wearing a t-shirt advertising the Mind Young Onset Dementia Activist group. She is leaning against a wooden table. On the right is an image of Jonathan Knight, a young black man, standing with his arm around Christine Knight.
