How to respond to anxiety & paranoia

Auntie has been in a care home since July 2017. She is 90, has almost no sight and is unable to walk now. In addition, hand/eye coordination is a problem since a mini stroke some years ago.
Of late she has become very aggressive with staff and tells us that this is because they ill treat her, refuse her food, force her to take tablets, etc, etc. We have, of course assured ourselves that this isn’t true but, of course, it IS true in her own mind. I worry that she must feel that the very people she trusts to support her (myself & my Cousin) have abandoned her and think she is lying.
Any advice please on what to say to her without her feeling that we are either not believing her or, worse, that we are ‘on the side of’ staff.
I thought I was familiar with Dementia as my Mum had it, but Aunties symptoms are completely different which leaves me floundering.
