How can we convince mum is night not day

Hi mum regularly won’t stop in the evenings and thinks it’s the morning.
Last night she was on the go from 6pm until 4am!! She cooked lunch, peeled potatoes and did her cleaning even taking the dog for a walk!! Advice please.
