Hi everyone
My name is Sharon, I’m 65 and married to John who is 75 & recently diagnosed with Alzheimers.
I retired a couple of years ago & like many others, thought I would be enjoying retirement with my hubby but sadly, the reality is a little different.

I am taking comfort in a lot of the posts I am reading but it’s also heartbreaking to hear about people who are in despair.

I do have a couple of questions which I will ask in another thread, for now, I just wanted to say hello.

My husband was 10 years older than me too and we had exciting plans for retirement as well. It`s tough when fate decides otherwise.
